Certified Foot Care Hygenist / Podologist

Meet Silvana Tanferna

Welcome to my passion-helping you walk through life with healthy feet!

I genuinely care about working with you to help alleviate any pain or discomfort you may be feeling caused by multiple foot issues.  Such issues as thickened, damaged or painfully curved toe nails, thickened or cracked skin, and many more. You can rest assured that all metal instruments are properly and responsibly disinfected and sterilized according to Quebec standards for Podologists and placed into individual sachets.  All products and techniques used are safe for Diabetics, the elderly or those with sensitivities.  For those of you who are less mobile, I provide at-home care where I come to you.  I also provide insurance/income tax receipts.

Why Naturopathy

Why seek a Podologist?

I can help with ...

Thickened, damaged toe nails

There are multiple reasons why a toe nail may become thickened or discolored.  There is also a specially formulated "gel" reconstruction that can help.

Nail Mycosis (fungus)
*
if diagnosed by a medical professional

There is hope when it comes to getting rid of nail Mycosis, it just takes team work and the right plan of action.

Ingrown toe nails
*
if diagnosed by a medical professional

There is a particular way to cut toe nails that have a tendency of becoming ingrown. There is also a specially formulated "gel" reconstruction that can help.

Callused/thickened skin

Callused skin is about more than simply applying cream to the affected area, there are multiple reasons why skin can become dehydrated and there are just as many solutions.

Corns

These are usually caused by repeated localized pressure and can be quite painful.

Diabetic/Elderly feet

Elderly feet need extra care because the skin can be thinner and more delicate.  Diabetic feet require appropriate products and a steady hand.
